AvMA is a charity whose purpose is to improve patient safety and justice for people affected by avoidable harm in healthcare. They provide advice and support, including via a helpline and on-line resources. They also campaign for changes to the way that the legal system deals with clinical negligence, to ensure access to justice for people who have suffered when there are lapses in patient safety and to reduce medical accidents.

SANDS supports anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth. Support includes a free national helpline, a bereavement support app for parents and families and a wide range of bereavement support resources available online and in print.

BTA on Facebook
The Association helps people traumatised by childbirth and campaigns for improvements. It has a parental support group on Facebook.
